A not very successful attempt to organise my work by topic is in My 'doings' list.
Comments on the latest set of proposals for evaluating research using more metrics etc. I argue that the objective is wrong and research funding should be done on a different basis, with regular monitoring and constructive critcism by experts replacing management by budget transfers. This is a sequel to my discussion on top-up fees in 2004.
